No front lift system? I know exactly what they are probably hiding ;)

Look at that overhang ... these cars are un-drivable (on the street) without the ability to lift the front.

I might be missing a joke here, but the car has nose lift?

    LOL.

I counted the knurled ribs on the valve stem caps and it appears there are 28 ribs, NOT the factory Ferrari 26 ribbed caps. They also appear to be Grigio Titanio and not Aluminio Opaco. I checked the Carfax and it is not mentioned. Can we get more pictures? Please explain!!!!

Wasn't there a no sale of a Yellow Aperta with the final bid in the mid 4's? I think a high 4 low 5 is probably where it will end up.

That was at the RM Palm Beach online sale in March of 2020. The world (and car market) was a different place at that point, which was essentially peak COVID hysteria.

The BAT car was bought only a few months ago and immediately shopped into the ground after not finding a buyer. It seems the seller / listing agent is hoping to find a different audience on BAT.

I am aware. I still think sub 5 to 5.1 is going to be close. I don't think a 7-8 million bid is going to happen.

I didn’t think it would sell for that. Guessed reserve was higher given current environment.

I would've guessed far higher as well given practically no miles (we know Americans tend to love that), US spec, BaT craziness and so on.

You're right that in this current environment there have been recent sales at higher values than the BAT car.

Trying to sell for more money against a recent no sale is a huge uphill battle, so my guess is the seller weighed the likely lower than expected BAT bid against the difficulty of waging that battle and took the deal today.

I am sure the new owner found it refreshing to save $500K+ in auction fees. Nice to see a little heat put on the auction houses and the crazy high fees they can charge.
