    F1 should have its regular 2022 FIA race director Niels Wittich at the inaugural Miami Grand Prix despite a recent COVID-19 concern.

    I hope the race will be good but Liberty seems hell bend on more mickey mouse entertainment, whilst attempting to get rid of the traditional tracks more and more. A bit like getting the rights to remake Saving Private Ryan but instead of storming the beaches of Normandy we instead have a fun filled snowball fight between the allies and axis...

    Who wants to pay the exhorbitant fees may have something to do with it.

    OK that is very very funny man LOL!! :)

    They have an 'interesting' way to define new races vs the historic ones. Yet they keep saying those 'foundation' or historic circuits are needed to keep the true F1 alive. We see possibly they are not sincere as much as we hope.

    What is fake water? Is it not wet? Or is it that it just isn't flowing from a natural source? "Fake water" is a new term for me.

    They have been focusing on quick to arrange and event focused street events. No Tilke tracks to build that take years. Quick and 'easy' friendly or gov money it seems.

    F1 drivers encouraged by Miami GP track in simulator runs
    Formula 1 drivers who have sampled the Miami Grand Prix venue in team simulators have given favourable feedback, with AlphaTauri’s Pierre Gasly calling it “pretty awesome”.
