White F8, and Maylander should grow a pornstar moustache, wear a white suit and aviators.

Miami F1 is a new twist. But, May is still the greatest month in racing!

Actually looks pretty good. Far cry from a parking lot a la Las Vegas back in the eighties. This could be good with a decent enough ambiance.

I'm not sure what the solution is to Porpoising... in the 80's think it was the skirts that kept the neg pressure and center or pressure constant... when they did away with ground effects that is when they went to the huge diffusers... so other than skirts how do they solve porpoising?

Celebs at an F1 race! God, I can hardly stand the anticipation! I wonder how many will realize that they’re standing in a parking lot in a backwater Miami suburb.

“I’m a celebrity! Get me out of here!”

Based on this view of the track, the first two turns look like disasters waiting to happen. We better qualify 1, 2, and then make great starts to get away from all the cars rear ending each other in the rest of the pack. I can easily see a red flag on the first lap before they get to turn 3. Any rain at all can cause mayhem. I'll have my fingers crossed until the cars spread out.

I've been to both Miami and Vegas many times, and to both just in the past couple of weeks, and neither appeal to me personally as travel destinations - F1 or no F1. But that's just my opinion, and i'm happy to watch on TV. I watched Indy in Alabama this past weekend, and that would be a cool track for F1 - especially if you mix in the Ricky Bobby crowd from Talladega on race weekend!

Having just watched the half hour recap of yesterday's Barber Indycar race I now think that track is actually more conducive to a good race than Elkhart or Mid Ohio and is, with Mont Tremblant, one of the two places in North America where a GP would generate a tremendous race. I am of course speaking hypothetically, we all know about these places being too isolated etc etc but just imagine for a moment:)!
