    Can someone tell me what type of screw holds the fan onto the shaft of the motor? The one you get to through the access hole. I can’t get a hex drive or anything else to get a purchase on it and can’t get the fan and motor out as a unit. AC car….

    You might have better chance for answers, right or wrong (depending on how clearly you describe the issue), if you post this in the “206/246” forum section, but based on my experiences with Daytonas, I would think the set screw in this case (holding the fan hub to motor shaft), if not hex head, could also have a single blade screwdriver slot.
