488 Finally.......my seats match the rest of my 488!

I could never understand why Ferrari cannot match seat colors to the car (red may match better than most) but with Blu Corsa exterior, there is nothing that matches the seat accents/thread (not even close). It has bothered my OCD since the day I purchased the car. So a year ago, my brother decides to buy a franchise that does leather/vinyl repair......and after a few months he tells me, I can fix your seats. I am nervous so I tell him he needs to get some experience under this belt. Fast forward 8 months or so, and I finally let him work on it today. Could not be happier..........can't wait to get it out next week.

It is an interesting process. Mostly reversible up till you apply the last coat (sealer). But I was very nervous.

Easier to see from computer versus phone. (Let alone in person). The match is dead on in person. Good to know he can fix the side bolster too when that wears down (as it does on every Ferrari)

Yes. Anyone that does Leather work can do it (or possibly sew on a piece of leather. I think most dealerships have someone who does seat repair - can ask and see if they would do it

 

I must be blind, but I can't tell the difference.

 

Color blind maybe ?
Everything is in the leather blue shades...
I cannot tell whether there is a difference in the stitched horse though.

 

Mate now the horse on the head rest is different Only kidding looks like he has done an excellent job !!!!

 

Yeah please ask him, it really bugs me.

 

I know!!!! But I think I can get over that. Less noticeable than the stripe.

 

I will ask him if he knows anyone in your area. What kind of seats do you have ?
