That book has a massive omission: Chantilly which is now one of the top three concours on earth....hopefully they will correct that in subsequent editions.

This book is a complete joke and useless. Why is The Quail in the book, a total lifestyle event without serious judging, and priorities on food and drinks?

Are those two sentences supposed to be related? How can including something make it "a complete joke and useless" or if the second sentence is not supposed to be the reasoning behind the first, perhaps you can explain why it is "a complete joke and useless" for those of us that don't own a copy? Thanks.

Thanks: the way Wally presented it in the opening post it seemed it was a book produced in Los Angeles: confusing. If it is made by the creators of Magneto I am sure it is very nice.

Since I had a discount code, I bought a copy of this book. I will try not to repeat the description in the first post. Beyond the Art Deco cover, there are a few pages on each of the 39 Concours events included with a few paragraphs of text on each. Then more-or-less pictures of each class winner captioned with the make and model of the car (or motorbike, as a few are included) and the name of entrant. As you might imagine, to fit in such a large number of pictures of the winners, many of the photos are very small. If you own one of the winners included, no doubt you will want a copy for posterity but, personally, I would have preferred a bit more of a flavour of each event rather than trying to squeeze in so many tiny pictures.

In summary, very much a niche book (not that there is anything wrong with that) and no real depth on either the events or the cars but a nice enough record of what it says on the cover.
