I know I should post this in the GTS picture thread..... but fok it! Some early pictures from my GTS which will finally be delivered next week. I immediately ordered the car as soon as it was announced, so the wait was long. Unfortunately there was a mix up with my initial special and specific leathers I requests. The dealer and the Aterlier department did the best they could, but alas, we couldn't make it work and TM wasn't available anymore. I wasn't going to let go of my initial idea for my GTS spec, so I decided to turn, yet again, to the Polish craftmen of Carlex. They have also done my F12 bespoke interior that is also featured here. My giallo F12 had a bold interior to match the exterior colour. The craftmen work was second to none as I'm sure a lot will doubt the work and leather quality. For my GTS I opted for the launch colour yet I wanted a timeless interiour with aged specific leather. I went with Kudu leather (yes, the Antilope!) I wanted a classy interior for such a timeless car and )hopefully) a keeper. On top of that I decided to have all the black plastics and CF painted in piano black; interior and exterior. More to come and hope you like it. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Congratulations! The color combination with racing stripes, interior color and the special leather you selected looks stunning. Please tell us more about the specification and your experience with Carlex, how long it took and any details you like to share.. my GTS is under Clearence at port and I can’t wait to see it, Argento Nurburgring over couio leather, same theme and direction as yours but I’m sure your car is unique in every way. more pictures please!
More pictures are coming next week as I officially take delivery of the car. Overall experience with Carlex is excellent. It all starts with a vision I had for my car combined with their interpretation. We started with shooting ideas back and forth, going to choice of fabrics and into sketches. Final stages were sending my car over to Carlex and them doing all the work in house in 6 weeks in total.
Wow! I know @dcmetro and @ScottS will be all over this. Do you have a picture of the side profile so we can see the wheel & brake calipers?!
First class !!! Congrats on a gorgeous car and the vision to make such a distinctive visual impact ! Bravo!
YES!!! I admire the courage to make it yours. Not limited by what Ferrari wants to do and agrees to. Yes I love the palette and motif. And you probably save 100k. Well done. More pictures when she’s home ScottS
I think mine is beautiful, but yours is really Spectacular. Just Beautiful. I'm envious! Congratulations
Quick phone pic from picking up the car last Friday. I will post pics from a professional shoot shortly as they become available. In short this car is stunning if I may say so myself. You need to see (and feel) the leather and interior yourself. It has an orange-weathered-look to it. There are small scratches and imperfections everywhere on certain parts. It gioves the car a mix of old and new; just how I envisioned it. I absolutely love this car (and my spec). Having owned a pre-GPF SF for several years, I absolutely miss nothing from the soundtrack of the V12. In fact,I would testify it sounds better at lower revs than the SF. The gear shiftst are a bit smoother as is the ride. But that is how it fits more with an convertible if you ask me. Unless you are in financial crisis I would not see any reason to sell the GTS. Then again, you also only need one kidney! Back to more driving...! Image Unavailable, Please Login
