900M from memory JM..Taking off in a fully loaded chieftain you would sit a 10 feet over the water in ground effect for ages while the aircraft was trying to accelerate…Some heart stopping moments going in and out of that place especially with a northerly wind…
C-130 had the same issue at Kwajelin in the Pacific .... would back the aircraft on the runway until the tail was out over the water and then just rotate before the end with a full load of spares for the F111
