Does the VIN decoding include gender specificity? You denote “she”.

If the Carfax shows this car in Florida at one point around 2006 to maybe 2010 I saw this car at a dealer in Deerfield Beach. It is the One that got away. It was loaded with options and I’ve never seen another like it. I had no reason to believe at that point that these were not factory. The mileage was lower, the independent dealer had no history on the car. I walked and later regretted it because it did not have FHP that could be confirmed. Pictures do not do this car justice. If it is still in anywhere near mint condition don’t let the $ premium scare you. Negotiate as best you can but don’t let it go if it strikes your interest. It was for sale around $150k back then which was a premium at the time for an independent dealer and didn’t help my thought process. With what I have learned since, very much wished that I never walked away. Not affiliated in any way nor do I know anything about that dealer. Feel free to PM if can answer further questions.

Tried to edit my previous post but timed out.
After looking at the pics further, it appears the car has the stickies and for some reason the dash plate near the air bag seems to be wiped clean. Negotiating points. A little more wear showing than when I last saw it. Car would need to be reviewed in person. A rare exterior color although another Fchat member in So. Florida just found one. But that interior which does not photograph well is amazing in person. Good luck with your adventure.

If you need a gas cap tether for your Maranello, go to Pelican Parts and order part #955-044-200-05-OEM for $8.75…it’s an exact replacement. Ferrari tethers cost up to $50 on ebay.

Spent a few hours behind the wheel of a 575M HGTC and loved it. More recently had a go in a Nissan GTR.

I do not think anyone could argue against the fact that there are now faster cars than the 575 - the 599 was already a big jump in terms of performance.
However, my memories are that the 575 was a lot faster than the 550 (and that may be one reason why I thought it needed some suspension and brakes tuning), to a surprising extent given the limited power difference in the data sheets.

The last time I was in a 575 as a passenger it did not feel any faster than my 550. The owner of that 575 felt there was nearly zero difference in performance as he passengered in mine. Perhaps the cat delete on my 550 allows to bridge the gap with a standard 575.

    Try a 575M with Fabio's or Supersprint's headers.

With a little blower, these cars would be up to todays sports cars... I remember I found a 456 for sale in the US with a supercharger. Would be interesting to know what can be done.

I recall loosely that in a thread Niftyfivefifty had been doing some 550 research on that.
