I saw the same, but kept finding where he had advertised that as the workshop address.
In Google View, there appears to be a large garage in back of the house, is it possible that's his shop?

I wondered the same thing. It has height so there very well could be a lift in there. I went around to the side street and there are no windows to the building.

I guess we need the OP to tell us where he dropped it off.

I think enough time has passed and there are enough unknowns that if it were me I’d get an attorney involved. I suggested earlier that a lawyer could start by checking court dockets and arrest records. This guy may be incarcerated, or maybe evicted, foreclosed, or some other legal or law enforcement involvement. A physical inspection of the premises is needed.

Thanks to all of you for your very valid comments. I am really reluctant to report it stolen because Craig really seemed like a nice guy and very helpful. It's just that I'm out of patience and really want my car back, in whatever condition, as long as all of the parts are there. I was secretly hoping that there are attorneys on this site who would know what to do. I admit I'm lost. I would pay the going rate to anyone who is interested.

Could you answer the question, "I guess we need the OP to tell us where he dropped it off."

Probably your best bet would be to go back to the New England forum and ask for some lawyer referrals. A new “Attorney needed in the Boston area” thread would probably get the most looks.

    Good luck.

I do not know the specific laws with residences, etc, and especially from state to state, bit if it was me, I would high tail over there and investigate with a flashlight, etc.

Make sure you bring the title and all documents if someone asks you why you are there, or if the LEO shows up.

    But I would do something!

I shipped it to 259 Forest St Malden MA. The suggestion to go to the New England forum and request assistance from n attorney is a good idea, I think. I will try that next.

That's interesting because according to Zillow it was sold about 8 months ago, and the property records show it owning to someone with a very different name, as was the seller. I'll PM you the property link since this is a public forum.

By the way, his cellphone number is publicly listed right on his website as (781) 350-6842. Is this the number you are contacting him on?

He is (was?) well regarded in the Maserati community. Bit surprised to hear. I’d say something happened to him but someone has been posting on his Facebook profile as late as middle of April. Maybe worth trying to reach out to him there?

    Something's definitely "off" with this.

Edit: Looking through the Zillow listing from last year, this is the garage...anything look familiar? Seems he may have moved...

Thanks to RedNeck's post that activity is moot. However, I would have strongly advised against it as that is the best way to get shot.

Hahaha! For sure, that info Redneck posted is definitely useful.

Of course I thought about a potential "ok corral" type encounter, BUT if it was his address and he posted it as a business, then I would think it would be ok to be there, as long as a nice cordial conversation is to be had...and a .45 in my rear. ;)

I sent him the public property records with the new owner and seller's info. I doubt the realtor will give contact info of their client, but worth a try I reckon...

That sounds painful. I'd get a holster if I were you. Much more efficient also.

I posted this in the New England forum -

As I think about it, I agree with Island Guy. Go to the Police Dept. and explain the situation. Tell them you've exhausted every way to contact him with no response. When you researched the property it has apparently been sold. It is possible that your car could still be in the garage. Ask the police to accompany you to ask the current resident to look in the garage.

My guess is the resident will allow it, and that your car is not there. This at least gives you the ability to file a stolen car report. Reporting the VIN as a stolen car may be helpful.

What's the VIN of your car? Just in case it shows up somewhere and members of this community see it.

The suspense is killing me. Did anybody run a Carfax on the VIN? If it was abandoned somewhere they might have filed a mechanics lien or applied for title elsewhere....

This is the danger of trusting any independent. You have no idea what their situation is or how long they've been trying to keep it together, no matter outward appearances.

Hoping you get your car back, and soon.
