    Wonder why they did not put a nose wheel on her like the X-37B? Makes it a whole lot easier to move around on the ground and no parts to replace.

    Yep, the assembly is complete, going to the Neil Armstrong testing facility for checkout. Fingers crossed, this thing will fly in 2024.

    I chatted with an engineer at SS. The reason for the skid is, weight savings, takes up less space, and a skid can take the heat better than a tire in that high temp area.
