Nah. That doesn’t really work for mine.

The Barchetta looks better, but neither of them are better than the Maranello.

But, $1m? Lol. That blue 488 Spider (with shields added) is a far better looking and far better car every day of the week.

This car has been through three dealers in two states over the last 18 months. It is the lowest spec’d car I have ever seen. The minimalist spec kind of works. At the right price it will sell, but not until then. FNS in Sydney couldn’t move it at $450k

 

That is surprising. I’d buy it for the right price if I wasn’t already committed to something else.
I like that spec. Acres of carbon fibre does nothing for me.

It was an interesting car. In the metal it all worked, with the blue & silver minimalist look, but on paper the lack of shields and LED steering wheel would turn people who had not sat in it away. I liked it.

 

CF as a pretend race-car effect does nothing for me either, but it's better than grey plastic, which 488's have in their cheap & nasty interior - it doesn't feel remotely exotic.

Peak Ferrari asking prices was 12 months ago I reckon, it's been a slow decline in 2022 and it will be a bloodbath in 2023 and beyond.

Get out of them while you can!

 

That's been for sale forever. Involved a fatal accident. I nearly bought that car unbeknownst to me. Luckily he didn't accept my offer

Yeah, but it’s Australian delivered!!

 

Yeah I was damn lucky. I don't think its sold in all that time. It was being sold privately at Ascot, when I looked at it, then did a stint at Ferrari Brisbane, then in Sydney. It may have sold but it had high 30k kms on it when I looked at it.
$50k of course

 

And of course, that's what all smart buyers ask first.
