Is it possible to keep the lift system up after the engine is turned off on the F8?

Yes but it will slowly creep back down.

You leave it up when turning off the engine. But it will slowly move down and by slowly I mean like in a minute it will be fully down again

Yes, I noticed that. But there should be a way to keep it lifted up permanently after the engine is off, like if you park over a curb and want to keep it lifted up until you pull out of the parking spot.

The lift system will automatically re-engage when you restart the car if you turn the car off with it on.

But is there no way to keep the nose lifted the entire time that the engine is turned off?

And I don't think you'd want it to, either.

It would put too much stress on the system and shorten its lifespan.

Yes, you could if you follow the next steps

1: Keep the nose lifted and DO NOT turn the engine off.
2:Open the door and get out of the car with the car key.
3: Turn off the engine while you and your car key are outside the car.

Then, your nose would keep lifted, until your next drive.

However, I suggest don't use this trick as your daily parking method, just as Ipsedixit stated-
