My GM said cars are in extended 90 now and Ferrari diverting shipping to less congested areas other than Us etc. Ships sitting in port waiting is bad for business.

Have another car 90. Doesn’t hurt my feelings as I’m still selling the 812.

90 is up to three months.

@Capo Supremo How long were you 90 before 91 today ?

This waiting game has been a tough one. I placed my order on Jan 10 2021. Dealer said my car was going through customs about 3 weeks ago and arrived in the US about 5 weeks ago. Still no idea when it will actually arrive at the dealer and neither do they. He said there is literally no info as to where it is. I am financing and this is not great news as every day it gets more expensive. Coupled with the "cant sell for 18 months" doc they made me sign I am getting a little squeamish.

Not to be the bearer of bad news but Ferrari Financial Services rates moved up another 0.50% last week. They're now in the high 6's low 7's for balloon. 18 months does seem long, standard is 12 months for first right of refusal. I hope your car comes in soon. When it does come in, I'll warn you, you'll be unimpressed with the wheel gaps and exhaust. I suspect you'll want to change that ASAP. I'm still waiting to do the springs / spacers and exhaust on mine.

    Great news! Who's your dealer?
My Initial deposit was 8 days later. I'm thinking I was on the Chicago Express and should go 90 in a week or two.

Great news! My GTS must have been on the same boat…..
92 this week. Maybe next week. Kinda embarrassing to have two cars in 4 weeks after such a long wait….

Exciting for you. It’s worth it.

    OUCH!!!!
I do have a lowering kit already, as well as new wheels and exhaust all ready to go. I thought I would have this car months ago so all the parts are sitting in my garage patiently waiting....... I will discuss the right of refusal with them. Here is the letter I was sent.

That looks like a dealer specific ROFR agreement, not necessarily a Ferrari of North America document. I have purchased new Ferrari's at two different dealers in two different states and neither asked me sign any such agreement.

I marked my agreement up and they accepted. I said I’d give them the first right to purchase “at market value” for the first 12 months and that I wouldn’t sell it at all in the first 6 months. But, I have no plans to sell. It’s definitely dealer specific and should not be a requirement for purchase.

I was told if I did not sign it, I would not be allowed to purchase the car. The agreement you made with them seems very reasonable and I would have no issue with that arrangement. I dont plan on selling either but I have said that with all my cars and always end up selling after about a year. I just want the option to sell at FMV, not MSRP. We all know they will turn around and sell it and make a ton of money on it! I have really struggled with this dealership unfortunately. The experience has been my worst in any car I have purchased.

Then I definitely was not on the OOCL Europe as I'm in New York and my dealer is Wide World Ferrari which is 40 miles from the New Jersey port. It's exciting because the Chicago Express was in New York a week ago and I should be getting a call soon. Can't wait to see your delivery photos.

Was this given to you when you placed the order and paid a deposit or afterward? I suppose if they told you this up front you have no right to be upset but if it was pulled up once the car was ordered/in production I would be very upset. I think under that latter circumstance, it would be a hard thing in enforce. That said, maybe Texas laws are less consumer friendly.
