I’m late coming to the thread, but I’ve seen references to Michael. Lewis has talent. There is no doubt. However…what Michael did with a truly horrible Scuderia Ferrari is what makes him the greatest overall champion of all time. He became bigger than Ferrari. He led the team to five world championships. Lewis has in no shape or form taken a struggling team to the top. Among the true greats are Michael, Ayrton, Fangio, Gilles, Clark and Ascari. Lewis might be the greatest among his generation, but he has far from led a struggling team to the top….five years in a row.
Michael Schumacher and team(from Benetton) made Ferrari in the 2000's a multiple WDC and WCC title holder. Part of that team made BrawnGP which was bought out by MercedesAMGF1. Merecedes made Lewis into a multiple WDC title holder and WCC title holder from 2014 thru 2020 (except 2016).

He knew the regulations more evenly made the playing field. That is not speech from a real champion who deserves his name among the greats.

According to merc, lewis has been responsible for the development of all the cars he has driven, Just like now, its lh helping solve the problems with the car and the teams development of it, as will GR be helping.. .... You can just do a quick Google to find plenty of vids / articles of both Ham, and wolf over the years, and as recently as yesterday from Brawn confirm that..

Show me a link if a credible article saying WHAT YOU JUST SAID. Schumacher is credited for developing the W0X variants while with Mercedes as per Toto Wolff. I can post the article for you if you like. Lewis is riding on the coattails of Michael Schumacher.

When im on break ill find them, but do you really sit in your chair an believe that MSC is still developing the merc car while GR and LH ( For the last 11? years ) do nothing and are doing nothing in developing the current car and older versions? Even while in a coma? REALLY? So no driver has had any input on any merc car since MSC left in 2012? Is that what you really expect the world to belive?

Nothing in them articles back up your claim that MSC is responsible for all Mercs success since 2013, and every problem they have had since then, and every up grade, every team choice, every stratagy, every change in regualtion...every thing was done by MSC between then and untill now and is continuing to do so???? LMFAO , all i see are comments about his dedication and hard work and helping to develop the TEAM , which is not the same developing the car. You wouldnt develop a car with out driver input, that is just obvious. Sorry, but to me that's pure PR stuff. ToTo Wolff trying to give more legitimacy to Mercedes by linking it to MSC.
