Ok... NOW it gets really interesting: When i said "this style wouldn't be so bad..." i thought by myself that my sketch is the minimum i want from the back of new car, not the maximum. After this comment we're talking about a perfect 10 (out of 10 points) for the new design and so the new one beats the Roma and the 812 Superfast by far. But of course, as jpalmito writes, in the end it's all highly subjective...

Supposedly there was a completed FUV design and it was completely scraped and they started over from a clean sheet to make the upcoming car.

It has been my experience that information on this site is regularly ahead of even leadership at the dealer. This is where you go to understand all aspects of the brand good and bad.

Is this 812 replacement expected to be a special/limited production car or one that mere mortal could also have access to?

so, do you believe this "no back window" (as introduced on the 812C and shown on the mule) will be included in the final car design?

I suppose that the 812 C rear panel purpose is to disrupt the airflow, helping balance the downforce acting on the rear of the car. There's still an inside rearview mirror, but it projects what the the little camera stuck on the panel sees out back. Personally I prefer a normal rearview mirror and a rear-window therefore my guess is that the car replacing the 812 will be having one.

    1) I don't know anything about the engine that will be fitted into 812 replacement.
    2) talkink with a Ferrari executive four years ago, he told me something about the first dyno test of the brand new V6TT (the power output was 700+ HP at the first full gas run). He also told me: "which of the three engine will be discontinued? Ferrari cannot afford a V6, a V8 and a V12: I still don't know what they will do".
    3) considering the point 2, a new v12 is not much probable.
    4) sooner or later they will have to produce a BEV vehicle: I spoke (three years ago) with a Ferrari consultant who was helping Ferrari in doing this. Considering this and the point 2, it's even less probable that Ferrari will keep three ICE engines in the future. So which one will be discontinued? Not the brand new V6, of course. The V12 is too strictly joined to Ferrari history to be discontinued, so even it looks incredible, I think they will discontinue the V8.
    5) so the 812 replacement will probably have a V12, maybe hybrid like the SF90 and 296. I don't think it will have a new v12 and it's too early to have a full BEV, so it will be an hybridized old v12. If the Roma and Portofino will receive (as I do think) the V6 TT engine, this means the V8 will disappear

    Ciao

    Sounds like a 458 owner.

Except, what is on the 812c is not what Ferrari marketing wants you to believe (it is just a fashion item, no actual aerodynamic value whatsoever).

    I previously concluded that here:

You, it just sounds like the last NA V8. Not mocking you at all, it's just that the 458 owners can make up any logic to support that the 458 is really special even though there were a lot produced. Your line of reasoning just sounded like that although it wasn't arrived at through the 458 owner bias.

The youngest Ferrari I own is 33 years old. Yes, I only own V8. 458 engine is much different from the actual Ferrari production TTV8.

I have a 458 and 812. Yes, the 458 is very special. And yes I’ve had the opportunity to drive the 488 and the F8.

And no I don’t think whatever happens there is going to be another V 12 available along the lines of an F 12 or 812, in other words a real production car.

One would have to be an aerodynamicist to know for sure.

Sorry, but the 812C color scheme and roof solution reminds me more of war paint. Well, there's war on the streets, but do we have to show that? ;)
I hope that the F167 will show a far more elegant solution.

I will order this car probably whether or not it has a rear window (if I make the cut). But I sure hope it does. Not a real fan of no rear window.
