Rolling start with drivers on slicks and a pretty much dry track? Why?

A recipe to lose the championship! They need to get a grip or they will win nothing.

Yes, that just shows you their incompetence and indecisiveness. They're all scared ****less to make the wrong call and thus delay the inevitable. As Brundle said: With that logic we should postpone the race to Monday.

I also think they're starting to worry about the broadcast and cutting the race short. So now they're trying not to red flag if possible after they wasted an hour looking at rain and sunshine.

Sainz binned it when he didn't go to Inters when told. He caused the pitwall chaos. Perez did and it worked very well for him.

Ferrari should fire their strategist and give the job to Sainz.

These conditions always advantage the guys in the back—like Max/RB at AD last year.

How do you figure? He was ahead of Perez. Now he isn't.

So, is it time to say "addio" to Monaco? Is it more of a problem than a benefit?

Yes, but that's stating a bit the obvious.

Yes it is a procession under normal conditions and could be skipped. But with wet pavement and such little runoff area this can be nailbiting. Not just for accidents but also screw ups in tire strategy (Hello Ferrari!). Monaco can produce the off chance Panis winner. That's for me the entertaining part. Until of course Race Control decides not to start in the rain. idiots

I don't know about you but I was thinking --- OK we bring in Sainz from wets to hard tires, see what happens, and then bring in Charlie.

How they decided to go to Inters then hards is beyond me.

Absolutely- I told the dealer I would graciously leave them on until my plates came since they were professional enough not to put some garish ugly (and usually crooked) sticker on my new vehicle- But AS SOON as I plate it they are coming off- WADR to Breast Cancer patients/victims/survivors I just can't keep pink stuff on a Grey Rubicon!

It was the correct strategy in the long run. I thought they would put Max straight to hards too, but it didn't cost him anything vs Sainz.

    I have no words..
Rain, bad strategy, Max crossing the line without punishment..
Pole position is not enough for me..
