Yesterday I ordered the Novitec spacers, exhaust, techtronic plug-in and sport springs from Wheels Boutique in South FL (about 30 - 40 mins SW of where I live). The parts should all arrive next week and then I’ll schedule install likely the week after. David advised me total install time is 3 days and I’ll have them do an alignment as well at a shop that’s a mile away from them and what they recommended.

I’m excited to be doing this as I’m really surprised that Ferrari allowed the exhaust to sound the way it does and the ride height does leave much to be desired as well. I’ll be doing as OEM of a look as possible, not slamming the car or anything, just looking to minimize the obnoxious wheel gap. I went with the valveless exhaust and can’t wait to hear it once it’s finally installed. I’ll post pictures and videos once all set. I do recommended Wheels Boutique as David has been very responsive and easy to get a hold of. I’m confident the install will be smooth sailing as well since they do all high-end vehicles.

No, not messing with cats as I don't want warranty issues. Purportedly, the install of the valveless exhaust completely changes the sound for the better and enhances the overall experience.

Can you upload some pics? What size spacers did you use and how low did you go with the Novitec springs?

That stance should've been how the F8 was shipped from factory. That is a perfect stance. My Aventador had a perfect stance as well, not sure why Ferrari insists on 4x4 look. All their media photos show a perfect stance as well for the F8.

The F8 exhaust sound is the result of turbos and GPF
Ferrari did not “allow’ this to come to pass
    They had no choice
EU GHG and health regulations are to blame
Coming soon to a USA car near you….

Sounds awesome, did you replace cats as well or just the exhaust?

Haha, I know, I was shocked how good it sounds, and that video is just 1st gear :)

This is just with stock cats. It's just the Novitec race exhaust (valveless) and the plug-in module. From what I've heard elsewhere, the high flow cats don't change the tone much, more the volume, but this set up should be loud enough for me. With windows up, it's gets a bit quiet, if you want it THAT loud you may want the cats.

3,500km and 12 months, and no CEL's or other issues.

Does anyone have any issues with warning lights after installing a novitec exhaust on a F8 ... item 1 = Engine Control system Failure ... Go to dealer .... then fixed and now ...... item 2 = (Catalytic Converter overheated ... SLOW DOWN) ..... ugh

I have the x pipe race exhaust with the Tectronic plug in. No issues or warning lights. Just a nice sound is all.

Sounds amazing. Does anyone know if there is a difference in sound between the Novitec valveless exhaust and the Novitec valved exhaust with valves open?

I would like to opt for the valved exhaust as I like being able to tone it down when necessary, but I don’t want to give up any sound when the valves are open.

I can’t answer your question directly but I do recall the Novitec valved was much more expensive than the X pipe valuless race exhaust. It is not loud at all when running conservatively in auto mode which is how I come in and out of the neighborhood or in bumper-to-bumper traffic. And for that matter it’s not super loud in manual mode when getting on it. It’s perfect but I realize that’s subjective.

I've been told the valved version is slightly quieter than the non-valved one (when in high revs/valves open). But no first hand experience.

I agree, if you need to be quiet, you can keep the revs low and fly under the radar. I find cold start is very loud, but after that it won't get loud unless you want it to.

Nice f8. If aftermarket wheels are properly designed for correct offset you do not need spacers. Only reason to use spacers is for stock wheels when lowered

I was wondering if you'd replaced the factory cats.
