Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login I discovered I’m missing a rubber plug that goes behind the louver (passenger side is missing). ‘85 308 QV. I assume it’s somewhat inconsequential, but I am a little worried about water getting in there. Anybody know what this part is and where I can find it? Thanks

I have those bits in my drawer, probably from Verell. I can't get then to go in from the top side. It seems like I need to pull on the nubbin from the other side to get it in far enough. I don't know if that's possible. Maybe if I pull the fuel tank?

It's all here, you just need to use the search function provided...

I don't know if you *have* to do this to install it (I've been able to just pop it in), but I'm pretty sure that if you remove the package shelf, you'll be able to pull it from the back. Seems like I saw the back of the hole when I was recovering those panels.

Well, that's not good. That means if you are missing the plug then there's a water entry point to the interior. My shelf needs a re-do, so I'll install them when I get to that.

I wonder if AFP is reselling the 60551400/K part from Maranello Concessionaires that sells a set of 4 for about the same price (I wish AFP would show pictures of their parts):

Doesn't seem to have the right cross-section shape to engage the intersecting window gasket, but agree that this should be a much less expensive part (if you had enough volume to justify making some expensive high-volume tooling).

Looks like Maranello Concessionaires got the part numbers swapped (or they believe that their 60551400/K reproduction is "good enough" to use in both positions). Per the SPC, the "centrali" one, with the notch in the back for the gasket (like Verell's part), is 60551400. The "posteriori" one by the fuel filler, without the notch in the back (like the MC part), is 20106001.

Here’s the page from Unobtainium website, looks like Verell has them both. Image Unavailable, Please Login
