F430 Complete F1 system, Gearbox, and 1.2l Tutela CS F1 Oil

One new 1l bottle and 1 openend bottle with approximately 0.2l left, so there is enough for an F1 fluid change (empty system takes 1l).

F430 F1 system fully working and removed from my own 2008 F430 when I converted to a different system. The parts were professionally removed by Ed Blasi at Christian Lewis.

This is the complete hydraulic system comprising:

- Actuator,
- Hydraulic lines,
- 'Power unit' - the solenoid valve block complete with valves and sensors,
- Pump, reservoir, and hoses - the later, stronger pump type.

It is from an F1 car but if the release bearing seals are changed to the manual type (brake fluid) it can be used in a manual car.

Why did you change the gearbox? Manual and F1 boxes are identical except for a few plugs for sensor locations. The castings are the same.

 

I have fitted a Scuderia 'box and F1 system to convert to Superfast 2.

 

Can the F1 trans be converted to manual? I figured people doing the swaps where swapping out the entire transmissions.

 

Yes - they are the same same. The only difference is in the throw out bearing seals to suit brake fluid rather than F1 oil.

 

Mark- Makes perfect sense. I thought this was one of the F1 to 3 pedal conversions. Great price on the parts.
