It’s unclear to me if 90 is waiting for a container/ship, on the water, held up in customs, ect. I’m hoping everyone currently at 90 is on the Vienna express with speedy deliveries.
I went 90 April 4. No further update and 3 container ships have departed Genoa since then. If I am (finally) on the Vienna Express, that would correspond to some reports of +/- 90 days from status 90 to the dealer.
Yes. 70-90 days is my experience. Ferrari also changed the shipping due to congestion. Customs still a bottleneck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I placed the order and deposit on Jan 10 2021. They sent the ROFR letter 3 weeks ago for the first time. I will see what I can work out with them, if anything. On the plus side, I was told on Friday that the car is on a transport truck heading to the dealership! So thats good news! Man......it has been a while! Super excited to get it in my grubby little paws!
Quick follow up for you guys. I spoke with my dealer today as I just signed all the paperwork etc and have my car ready for pickup on Tuesday. I was not thrilled about that ROFT letter they wanted me to sign. They backed it down from 18 months to 6 months though which to me was very reasonable! Word to the wise, speak to them about it before signing that ROFR.
Credit to you for having the presence of mind to negotiate on that point. At this point, I can't imagine letting mine go in less time than it took to order, but those agreements certainly cast a negative shadow on an otherwise positive experience...
Hello all, I first posted to this thread on 12/1/31. My car arrived at my dealer in the Midwest on June 2nd, and I figured I'd post up my timeline. I had my first meeting with the dealer on 8-13-21, worked up a spec and put cash down in the hopes of getting an allocation. I recieved the allocation on 9-23-21 and finalized my spec. My Vin# Popped up in the Ferrari app on 11/20/21, the dealer verified it was in 10R status. Photos of the production first appeared on 2/12/22, and the final production photo arrived to the app on 3/19/22. The dealer informed me it was on a boat 4/21/22, and that it arrived in New Jersey on 5/18/22. The car arrived at my dealer June 2nd. The car is currently getting prepped and PPF'd. Sorry I don't have all the respective production codes, but the timeline is there. I've been receiving paperwork from the dealer, haven't been approached on a ROFR yet, but will let the group know how that plays out. Sooooo Excited!!!
