Not sure yet Rob..I have some offers in the US but haven’t 100% made my mind up as I’ve got a lot to do at home with unfinished projects…
The Hastings river there is a ship that goes out to Lord Howe with supplies just near Port Macquarie, as you drive over the Pacific hwy bridge you can see the docking area .
come on the drives ,I know of 2 guys (Melbourne) in there early 70s both car guys who are now in nursing homes due to illness , life is too short too work .
......and this'll be the reason he's following ME on the drive after the GG. There is only one road and I won't be the one stopping asking directions!
Hey Gary, all is going well here, thanks mate. My youngest got her license not that long ago so that's another milestone ticked off for me... Still finding myself time poor though.... we're pretty short staffed at the moment, so most days off are met with a call/text asking if we can go in... that's what happens when you offer 15+% of your workforce an early retirement incentive I've watched quite a few long time friends/colleagues leave over the past few months. It's been very much a 'changing of the guard' with so many new trainees coming in. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little envious... if they offer something similar in 10 years time, I'll be the first in the queue!! I read that you're calling it a day with CPA too! I'm wrapped for you mate. I'm sure it won't take too long to adjust to a 'normal' life If you're at Coongarri in the third week of October, we should definitely try and catch up!
Now whom is lost ! That is one long day ..big boyo .. Driving in dawn and dusk? so 6.30am till around 5.30pm? Bingara and Gunsynd country?
Nup should get to Emerald by 430 as long as you don't need to stop every 5 mins for a PP.........! A lot of the road is 110..sooo
My fuel range is around 650 to 700ks so only one stop , where yours would be 3? So I'll PP than . I'll bring along the kit I take with BlackJag as a backup for your E..
Yeah fuel for me WILL be a pain,I'll have my 20 and possibly pickup my other 20 in the 365 on the way down. What's in your kit?
