Try not to be thick.... You quoted Steve talking about a commercial flight to Alice AND the rock tour. 80 mins sounds too quick for one and too slow for the other. Sig www.pless.com.au/mechanics.htm
What was that in? At 180-200nm it'd be 1.5 - 2 hours in a single engine Cessna to get there from Alice. If I was going to the trouble to get checked out and hire one I'd make it a 2 or 3 day effort and have a really good look around. It's not just Uluru and The Olgas - there's plenty of spectacular country west of Alice.
Awesome! I love the 301R. It was the first real high performance twin I flew. Did a trip in about 1993 from Adelaide to Bundaberg, down to Sydney and back. It really felt like a proper step up from everything else before.
I've done it in a helicopter about 30 years ago - mid morning but I think it would be excellent at anytime.
Oh boy. I feel the need to spell it out, but that might be deemed trolling. Sig www.pless.com.au/mechanics.htm
Not for everyone, but I’m an Elvis fan…. I’ll definitely see it before it closes. https://www.bendigoregion.com.au/bendigo-art-gallery/exhibitions/elvis-direct-from-graceland?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI-KPTtYyj-AIVfphmAh3vOwxFEAAYASAAEgJ9fvD_BwE Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm trying to negotiate with ATC a direct route YMMB-YBDG. Mechanics http://www.pless.com.au/mechanics.htm
No one here does lessons, so he has to go to the Curry to do it. The fella with the Cessna he flies is building his own $1.5M private runway on his property also. I told my mate it's obvious he's a rich cattle farmer lol. Once the runway is built, he's buying another plane, I forget what plane it is but I will find out.
+1 My mate Rinoy who's learning to fly is the one of the dumbest ****s you will ever meet lol. But he's doing it and is absolutely loving it.
Interesting rule change since I first got my licence. You can now cruise at 12500' without oxygen. I find that a bit strange, but there you have it. Sig www.pless.com.au/mechanics.htm
Direct will take you too close to close to Melbourne Airport. A route to the west and then north to Bendigo would probably be a better option. Sunbury Water Tanks is a VFR reporting point that may help. Another option would be to remain outside controlled airspace? What level are you planning? Inside the Melbourne Terminal area (30NM) is not my specialty…
Unfortunately it seems like that's going to be the only option. Actually I'm a dickhead.... I just checked and it only makes 10 minutes difference! OLIO Sig www.pless.com.au/mechanics.htm
Now I know what a trough is. I probably should have already known. Sig www.pless.com.au/mechanics.htm
