Hi. I’ve had this for a while but finally installed it today. I took very detailed photos so I knew that my wiring was identical to the previous. I lost my windows, and signals. I believe this is a left side problem. The fuses in the old block were 25’s and 16’s. I used the order from the manual to correct the order to get the proper amps. (I think). When I removed the new block and reinstalled the old block everything worked again. Any advice from anyone that has solved similar issues is appreciated.

I installed this block and didn't have issues... not that it helps, but I wonder if maybe there's something wrong with it/defective.

I emailed the supplier. Did you have to fuse any of the blocks together? I assume at some point someone has altered the placement of wiring on the originals potentially. Can you take a photo of your wires that go into the block so I can see if mine are the same?

I put it back to original. I’ll post when I attempt again.

    On their website…
Note: Some cars may need to bridge terminals 2 and 3 on the left panel with a wire or solder link. Check the back of your original white block on removal.

It appears I don’t need to do this by my block. I’ll do more testing.

Wait wait wait - the old block was using 25 and 16 amp fuses? That would mean many circuits were using fuses that are too large. (Depending on where the fuses were - possibly ALL the circuits.)

It's not just the order ... did you use the correct 15 & 7.5 amp blade fuses?

I have a feeling there there's more to this issue than just old vs new fuse block; I'm not even sure that the wires on the old block were on the correct terminals.

I assumed they were not wired correctly and it appears that the former owner used whatever fuses he had available.
I corrected the fuse size in the new block when I tested it. I will have to sort the colour coded wires most likely to rewire it properly.

Assuming the colour coding on the harness is correct I suspect that the former owner has reversed the order of the wires at some point based off of the birdmans photos. I am having an issue attaching the photo of mine. If anyone that can post a photo of theirs I would appreciate it.
    Joe.

I don't even have to glance at a diagram to see that this isn't correct. It's not even close.

I think the left bank is reversed based on the photos I’ve seen on the internet and what others have posted. I’d like to see a few more panels if anyone can take a shot. My car is a 78 gts.

Problem solved. As I expected the former owner had the wires reversed on the first block. A reorganization after comparing the above photos and a bit of testing and everything works well. Thanks for the photos.
