Great aircraft, love the story of the test pilot who performed two barrel rolls showing off in front of the airline executives without the boss of Boeing knowing. Did the second one in case they missed the first.
Great video ,as a kid lucky enough to fly in them pre 747 days , QANTAS looking out to the engine cover and the familar RR logo ..
I think it was a 707 that the RAAF used for our trip to mainland USA via Hawaii in 1988 We landed at night in a very strong cross wind The pilot managed to hit the runway with the engine and our overnight stay was extended by a couple of days whilst the engineers had to wait for replacement parts to arrive and be fitted before we could take off for the next leg I certainly preferred flying with Navy pilots after that experience Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Mate in the US reckons he could pick an ex Navy jockey when the commercial jet landed , just a rough landing ..
Navy shouldn't even have any aircraft. Just helicopters, which everyone knows are strictly for poofs.
Don't give the game away!! They've been hiding that fact for decades Remember the Village People song, in the navy, they take it up the bum
I always steered clear of the sailor boys Helicopters are for people who failed their fixed wing license
Go and say that to DMWC... I’m sure he has a special left (or right) hook (or wry smile) for people like you...
