F8 Order Status

Very interesting regarding Apple Car Play. I also didn't option my car with that (android faithful), but it doesn't show up on my confiigurated list on the app. When did your vin show up in the App? If they've made this change for Apple Car Play to be standard, I hope my car has it.

 

They added it in January. I didn't spec apple car play but it's in mine and they increased about 5K to the base price.

 

Cool cool, thanks for the info. I know that my car's base price hasn't changed, so that makes sense on my end. Plus, it's definitely not worth 5G to me, an android user, but if they were throwing it in, it'd be nice to have since the wife is an apple user. I should have known Ferrari would never "throw it in". What was I thinking lol

 

I wasn't happy about the 5K increase either since I'll never use it either. But just like when they told me yellow seat belts was a $1,000 option I see how it works. No chance they were going to throw in Apple carplay for free. LOL

 

similar timeline here. tributo. ordered last Sep 4th, final spec in Jan this year and VIN showed up on June 8th

 

After 9-10 weeks at 90, turned 91 today.

Went 91 yesterday - 90 on May 1.

Deposit in June, finalized spec in August, car arrived in February, $5000 price increase but no CarPlay. Oh well.

 

Should have CarPlay if you got the price increase.... Odd.

 

This "price increase" puzzles me a bit. Considering your timeline, I should have seen that (glad I didn't). First deposit August '21, finalized spec September' 21, picked up my car today.

 

Rendering and actual picture of the car at the end of production. Should arrive in a few weeks! I specced my car w/Apple Car Play in July 2021 for $4200. I guess I "saved" $800.

Puzzles me too. I was informed that the price increase would be $10,000, and there was no mention of Apple CarPlay being included.

From what I’ve seen posted, that photo comes after the car has already been slapped into status 90 (shipping). Not saying it’s right around the corner, but assuming 90 days +/- as an expectation (North American delivery) would put you in the right mindset I think from what many have posted these days.

Open to correction by anyone with different info or experience, this is just from what I’ve pulled from posts over the last year. (this doesn’t account for if you paid for it to be shipped by air freight )
