Perhaps but we had sooo much fun going around the corners slower than you.

I thought I'd better post something on this page number!

I don’t look down my nose at them, I have said numerous times that I am in awe of people who CAN drive Porsche at speed. I’ve spent quite some time in the driver’s seat of a 911 (almost identical to Carl’s down to the colour) and it’s the only car I’ve ever frightened myself in at road speeds. Never done a track day in it and wouldn’t want to. The problem is with ME - I have spent my life in Italian cars and the german cars are just inverse to what I’m used to (light clutch/ heavy throttle vs heavy clutch/ light throttle and oversteer vs understeer).
I’m not big on turbos either although the turbo on the Abarth 124 is almost imperceptible at road speeds; only time I really noticed lag was exiting the pits at track day. :D
My comment on that nice white 911 was purely an observation it COULD be scary (I probably should have qualified it as ‘in inexpereienced hands).

Not so sure , quick through the corners for what they are ,IMO I'd prefer a G Series 2.7 Carrera or a 3.0l car SC racecar .

By the time I'd finished with that blue car it was a ripper to race ,just so strong to race .

In the tens of thousands of miles I've driven and raced 911s ...I've never had a FRIGHT,old tale those who smash a older 911s (pre 996? the norm in the 1st few months of ownership.

I should have kept that G Series 911RS rep, perfect for the blokes only GG/GAD runs .

    Awesome.

I spent time in a friends 3.0 Turbo, 1st one sold new in Australia , in his time without any doubt THE MOST Talented drive in Historics for years , felt so safe at speed with a guy who KNEW how to drive an early turbo 911.

As my sister said the other day "Bob took me for a drive in the Turbo once ,best driver I'd ever been in a car with"

Any other pics? Definitely a cool car. I love that interior. :)

But is that paint starting to fade on the roof in that pic?

And imagine owning this little toy at 21 years old. :)

    Yep, $100 bill.

Haven't seen one of those since the kids were born in 2012. :(

I sold around $2000 worth of Paw Patrol toys on Facebook two days ago for $100 to make some room here in the house and because my kids have "out-grown" them.

Caprice asked for that $100 because they were her toys lol. Even though Daddy paid $2000 for them, I still gave her that $100 lol. :(

    I'm still can't have a $100 bill JM.

No other pics sorry Pap, my mate in the uk had a 3.2 carrera when he was 21, I think he paid £18,000 for it back in 1985 which was a fortune for most people(he got a £100,000 drop for his 21st that helps I guess [emoji849]

He was scarred for life when he was born with a a father like me :p

When I moved to Sydney some dickhead tried to threaten me and Troy found out and couldn't sleep so Leonie called me and asked me to speak to him.

Asked him "who is the devil ?" , "You dad" , "Stop worrying about me and think of the dead man who was speaking to me !!"

He slept like a lamb after that :p
