It is very surprising that you did not get an allocation for the PS. Here in France I know clients with very limited Ferrari history who were offered to buy one...

The US market is very different. Only “select” VIP clients were offered the PS.

Congratulations! All the right reasons for both buying (either) an SUV and/or (in your case) a luxury vehicle. Kudos!

You are absolutely right because as far as I know there hasn't been any other modern Ferrari model where this has happened.

Well observed and by improving the picture sharpness it is possible to visualize what looks like an exhaust pipe but with a smaller diameter. I leave to the experts any possible explanation of what is this pipe function.

I also have issues with the bourbon vs a scotch, but I guess it's a personal thing.

Well I have a personal issue with scotch......happened 40 years ago. Couldn't even smell the stuff for 20 without reliving the experience..... ;)

Couldn’t it be the tube for fixing a tow hook there?

The pictures below show the rear bumper and diffuser of the Lusso where the central exit of the diffuser has a grill. The rear bumper and diffuser of the Purosangue look similar to the ones of the Lusso. The small diameter exhaust pipe that can be seen inside the central exit of the Purosangue diffuser must have another function because is placed behind the grill meaning that it can't be accessed from the outside.
