I can't see it. Unless they specifically said the diff ratio is correct, which would be unlikely. Caveat emptor imo There would have to be some fraudulent intent.... Again, just imo Any claim would have to be evidence based. Where and what is the evidence? This from the dealer just now: "Hi Simon, Thank you for forwarding the correspondence with GTO Engineering and the remedy for the differential and close things out for you. I have discussed with the team and have approval to get the below ordered at our cost. We will place the order with GTO and handle all communications with them while keeping you updated." Answering this,the amount has been left out: "Hello David, As requested by Simon Klein please see below the quotation for the Crown Wheel and pinion for Ferrari 365 Gt4 2+2 Given that this part is made on order we ask 50% to confirm the order Please let me know if you have further questions Kind regards Piero Tegazzini | GTO Engineering" Piero is the bloke I dealt with re the stuffed auto diff and a hell of a nice bloke....I phoned him a couple of times.
