    Thanks for the invite. We’re enjoying a rare weekend off together with some friends at Black Point from Sat - Mon.

    But when we get our own beach house and an aircraft (which seems quite likely) we’d be keen for that sort of thing.

    I found this interesting.

    He drives an electric car, so that's a good start, then flies a Cirrus IFR through poor weather and gets icing too. All fascinating and relevant to the training I'm currently undertaking.

    There are a few of those "community" airfields in Oz, but it's nothing like in the US.

    Here in SA, Goolwa is trying to create something like that.

    I just populated an electronic log book.

    Only as a back up, of course.

    It's MEANT to automatically fill in with times, tracks and landings. We'll see about that.
