Well, not much to talk about regarding FP1. Quit whinging about British broadcasters being British. Overall they do a bang up job. I remember Bob Varsha going on and on about Scott Speed. It just comes with the territory.
I see what you did there—clever. If they were partial to all the Brit drivers I would understand but the constant droning on about “what needs to happen so that HAM gets to the front” is just tiresome.

Wouldn't you say that Hammy's sudden lack of comptetiveness this season is a legitimate topic? Don't forget George Russell is with Mercedes also. And I observed plenty of Lando Norris discussion in FP1.
That's not what I observed. Lando, George and Alex were all discussed. Of course, none of them are a seven time world champion, are they? Look, I'm a Chuck fan. But I also think the SkySports people generally know what they're talking about while admitting they are a bit windy.

Not really—it’s just confirmation of what a lot of us have been saying: he’s a very good driver who’s had the good fortune of having had a dominant car for 8 years to be able to rack up all those “GOAT” numbers. The fact that Russell could jump into his car for one race in 2020 and immediately drive to the front underscored this. Even last year, when he was still winning, every race commentary was about “what’s it going to take to get HAM into the lead”. For some reason, maybe overcompensating for PCness or to cater to all the new “devotees” to F1 but only interested in him, Sky especially have taken to glorify everything he does. And curiously, I wonder if he’s even nice with them because you never see with him the kind of camaraderie the Sky crew has with say a Norris, Albon or Ricciardo.
They are by far the most knowledgeable. I just found them really very British this fp1. Jenson and karun did the most by steering the conversation towards cars and everything and keep it balanced
