Ferrari has 1 great driver and 1 good one.

    They have a great car.

They're pitwall is borderline incompetent and cannot react to quick decisions like Mercedes and RedBull as evidenced even more so today.

Pit wall lacking again..maybe the tyres etc where not in position and ready ..who knows but complete clusterf .....

Carlos deserved to win in the end ,despite the clowns.Cleared to 'fight' ? race might be a better word.

Anyhow that was some motor race, for sure.

And about that - first of all the radio calls are not in real time.
Second, you assume that having a hard 1-2 at this point is beneficial to the team.

You gotta adapt the strategy to the team and drivers or you risk jeopardizing the performance of the entire team for short term results.

Overall F was fair and Charles would have probably won were it not for the safety car.

Awesome race. Would have been perfect if Alonso had passed LH.

Glad to see at least one of our cars on the podium tbh…what a crazy race, and those last few laps were INSANE!

Happy for Sainz to finally win & very well-deserved.

3-way fight for points between us, RB & Merc is going to make the championship super tight; every pt is going to count and any driver currently in the top 4 has a shot at the WDC!

Charles is a great and smart driver, but I'm not sure yet that Carlos can't be better.
He's not as settled as Charles right now but let's see. The guy's got some Alonso in him.

If Carlos were a team player and there was a clear #1, leaving Charles out front and having Carlos keep the DRS train at bay by slowing everyone down on the apexes was a viable path to a Ferrari 1-2, even after they stuffed up the pit stop call. No chance that Perez or Hamilton get past Sainz if they all have DRS. Despite his incredibly valiant effort, there was no chance Charles would finish higher than where he did. Carlos displayed some immaturity today.

Yes and we seem to have so few races like this lol. I just enjoyed it and really tried to just enjoy it. Carlos won etc etc. On to the next where maybe it will be as good but possibly not lol :) Ferrari need to sort stuff. Nothing new and hardly detracts from Carlos doing well and all weekend. A Ferrari won. Good!

Leclerc is a "Max Verstappen" level driver in quali and race given his age in F1 and consistent.

Sainz is no where near Leclerc. He's good but not great and very inconsistent.

Maybe Charles is recalling what Vettel told him in 2020 that Ferrari is more of a politics than a team. You would end up getting frustrated if you joined the politics.

Charles is more technical, a very "digital" driver. But he doesn't have Max's ruthlessness and you can't learn that.
    Sainz does.

    It's not settled yet.

You nailed it. Sainz isn’t in the same league as Leclerc. Period.

I have a sign in the corner of my office. “Be decisive. The road of life is paved with flat squirrels.” Perhaps I need to send it over to Binotto.

Perez is a better driver than Sainz.

Regarding Max's "ruthlessness." I've seen better wheel-to-wheel between Max and Leclerc this year than Max and Lewis.

Yes, Max has more penalty points than Leclerc.

if either of them or Max win the WDC, good deal.

Decisions like these makes me think whether Binotto is under Marko's payroll and hence RB is asking for an increase in the budget cap to deal with Binotto's fees.
