I don’t know guys… there’s a lot to be satisfied about with this race. I’m happy Ferrari won and we can talk all day about which driver us hind sighted armchair team principals think should have crossed the line first.

The thing I’m mad about most is having to wait 10-15 minutes to hear “Joey” was okay. That was BS

The thing I’m most happy about is seeing Ric once again getting a$$ handed to him by Lando. What happened to the “big step” he claimed he made. He’s done. His career as a marquis is over. Probably should of spent less time goofing around… less time busting into everyone’s interviews, and less time clinging on to his small handful of moments

but overall, this was one of the most exciting races and that’s what we’ve been clamoring about here since my first post years ago.

You might find this hard to believe, but many of us "armchair team principals" scream the obvious calls at our TVs in real time. There were (at least) two paths to a Ferrari 1-2 finish and the team chose neither.

Pitwall isn't borderline incompetent. They are wildly incompetent, and have been a pack of clowns since 2008. Fourteen Years of Failure with no desire to change.

It's a win. In the past couple of years a win by Ferrari would have been for dreamers only.

It's a win and it was mega!

Seven idiots from something called Just Stop Oil have been arrested for their antics. Northamptonshire police had offered to “facilitate a peaceful demonstration.” Well, aren’t they the helpful ones? More policing, less facilitating, please.

Oh, and bring back Ross Brawn.

Starting next year, F1 will offer a subscription to run a virtual team, so all the "armchair team principals" can test their strategies against Ferrari,
and more importantly, considering all the criticism of F, against each other.

They couldn´t afford to loose so much time. Didn´t bother to change it in the first pit stop either, and actually, seeing the pace of Leclerc, it wasn´t worth it.

Yeah, I think they need a Spanish Inquisition and set the the facts straight with LEC’s engineer, the strategy guy and the other strategy guy, Sainz!

    I nominate @furoni to lead it! ;)

Wedged AlphaTauri endplate wrecked Verstappen’s British GP

Max Verstappen’s British Grand Prix hopes were wrecked by a front wing endplate from Red Bull’s sister Formula 1 team AlphaTauri getting stuck under his floor and ruining his aerodynamics.

Television footage had shown him hitting a part from Charles Leclerc’s Ferrari early on in the race, and it was thought that it could have been related to that.

However, it was only after the grand prix that Red Bull discovered the problem had actually been caused by the endplate from an AlphaTauri front wing getting embedded underneath the Dutchman's RB18.

The part had been ripped off after AlphaTauri team-mates Yuki Tsunoda and Pierre Gasly collided on lap 11, wrecking their own squad’s hope of points.

Red Bull team boss Christian Horner, who showed reporters later on a photo of Verstappen in the post-race debrief holding the endplate, reckoned that the disruption to his car’s airflow was costing Verstappen about 20 percent of his peak downforce.

“We didn't have a puncture,” explained Horner, reflecting on Verstappen’s problem.

“He was reporting, because it was so bad, that it felt like a puncture. But basically on lap 11, he hit a piece of debris which was an AlphaTauri part from an incident that they had.

“So he's then done the race with a modified floor that had a piece of an AlphaTauri endplate stuck under the bottom of the car. It stayed in there and got stuck and wedged itself almost like a blockage.”

Things did not work out well for Chuck. OK. Get over it. Still plenty of races left.

We are competitive. We can capture pole. We can win races.

    Bring on Austria! Forza Ferrari!
