Can't believe what Hamilton said after the race: "Charles did a great job, what a great battle. He’s a very sensible driver, clearly a lot different to what I experienced last year, At Copse for example, the two of us went through there with no problem. What a battle.” Hamilton told Sky Sports. Here is my take: 2021 : While overtaking Max, Hamilton made a mistake by missing the apex and stays towards the outside which is the ideal racing line (Max left more than enough room, more than Charles gave), making contact with Max and then calling him aggressive and saying that "I won't back off". 2022 : Overtakes Charles even before copse and saw Charles approaching at full throttle and Charles went towards the outside but not fully, in this case, Hamilton made the apex fully and went in deep and backed off instead of going around the outside and calls it fair.
Its just lewis telling his fans what they want to hear. If he looks at both side by side there's no way he'd say that again. Unless he's deeply delusional.
If Hamilton did say that, and I have no doubt, it shows what a complete ****** he is. There is absolutely no reason to say that except to be ****** and try to stir the pot. This is why he is so unliked by many people.
the respect I gained with him telling fans not to boo Max was lost by what he said after the race. Maybe he was trying to turn two fan bases against each other. Playing mind games is little too early for someone still 6th in the standing. LOL
Yes. He just couldn't help himself. And his fanboys wonder why so many have such disdain for the guy.
You can't compare both cars (2021 vs 2022). New cars are way easier to drive side-by-side. Last years cars created alot of turbulence side-by-side. Last year Hamilton missed the apex by about half a meter at ~280km/h. Max had plenty of room on the outside but he went on the racing line so both collided. This race MSC nearly didn't score points. Max was super aggressive and pushed him off several times at the end.
Anyone with eyes can see that Max gave Lewis more room than Charles. Last year Lewis missed the apex. This year he didn't. Ergo, last year was 100% his fault and taking cheap shots at Max is very low rent.
Btw, that video is from 2021(Ham vs Leclerc). 2022: Max pushed Hamilton to the right side just before entering the corner. Making it harder have a good line. Leclerc was on the left side so Hamilton had a better angle to take the corner and hit the apex at that speed.
That depends on what the moderators deem a "personal attack." Read the enforcement rules at the top of this forum.
If you were indeed Lewis & it was obvious to everyone, it would be a personal attack. If you merely re registered then it would be a violation of the site with multiple user id's & it would be permanant.
5 to 10 years from now Max might equal Lewis's accomplishments in F1, but last years race was an example of Max being a bully and driving like a punk until karma caught up to him. Image Unavailable, Please Login
everyone makes mistake, racing incidents happen all the time. I didn't make the comparison, Sir Hamilton did which I do not agree.
So let’s say you entered a high speed corner off line and knew your car understeered pretty bad. Committing to a bad line now doesn’t make you at fault? Not sure how that could be argued
