will the winners still receive a cheap wooden trophy?
Siverstones 1st place trophy was beautiful. exactly what a trophy should look like.

Can Mercedes do this for Ferrari in Austria??

Speaking to Sky Sports , Binotto said: "I am happy that Mercedes are back. They were very competitive today in the race. It is great for the championship but they can take off some points as well to our direct competitors."

Since Ferrari are obviously not intent on winning a championship and probably out of it anyway, I hope LEC from now drives Villeneuve style—100% of the time—like every lap is the last lap and racing for points or championships be damned. « Ou ça passe, ou ça casse! » And not obey any team instructions he doesn’t like.

LEC needs to make life as uncomfortable as possible for “Bin8” so that he either gives him first billing or forces him to (try to) kick LEC off the team. Hopefully they’ll choose to can the incompetent engineer and strategists instead.

Why did Carlos receive 2 trophies--first a silver 2x4 then that magnificent gold cup?

What will this week have in stock? 2nd stint on inters when it's bone dry? Not changing the tyres at the pitstop?

Or just a good old fashioned engine blow up.

The thing with these guys is that whatever you can dream of they’ll still surprise you.

I think the gold trophy belongs to the host of the British Grand Prix...the driver doesn't get to keep the gold trophy...just gets photographed with it and perhaps the driver's name is engraved onto it with past winners as well?

It is a perpetual trophy- like the Stanley Cup. Winners name is engraved with the date, etc. and it remains with the race sponsor. It was a nice win for Sainz but another bungled race for s.f.

Alex Albon is suffering from back pain after the crash at the British GP. If this continues before in FP1 in Austria Williams will have Oscar Piastri replace Albon.

That is not good news. Alex has been pushing to gain his stature and a better position in F1. I hope he heals soon. Can happen to any driver!!

After his behavior in Monaco against Charles I really hope Piastri will replace him soon.
