If I have offended you, I apologize without reservation; it was not my intention If you cannot accept me the way that I am; it's OK Best B500
Who's offended? Don't go all soft cock passive aggressive on us. This is F-chat although lately, I can see why you'd think I was offended. I just gave back what I received, all meant in jovial hard hitting banter. The OZ section of F-chat was once ruled by the thick skinned, self deprecating (and sometimes self defecating) poster who was able to soak up what he/she dished out! What has happened? (Where's that cry baby meme?) So no offence taken B500. Just know that when you play with guns, expect some (un)friendly fire in return, all depending whether you are a friend or foe. We don't discriminate on here. So keep on posting.
At the time they never called them "year model" but the first abs equipped cars started to filter out about September 1988. For a short period there was an overlap of abs/non-abs cars coming off the production line. So its hard to be definitive.
PJ had an early 246, knock ons , early door handles ,early seats? . Sold it to a guy via Duttons ...Andrew M?
I thought the L series 246 Dino had the same door handles (the dainty chrome lever) as the later models? I'd be surprised if but a handful of 206 came with the Fiat door handles - and I'd even wager even less than handful.
It's called hypocrisy. I really don't like it when people behave in a particular fashion and then complain when others behave the same way back to them. It seems to be happening a lot around here lately.
so long ago around 1983/5 ..I do know it had knock wheels/hubs as the owner fitted knock on Simmons wheels ,which spoiled the look and the car looked over tyred ,that car ended up in Japan, I can find out the chassis number if you want ? How many came with spline hubs?
That's simple - the 206 and the first of the L series had the knock off wheels. The M and E series had the bolt on wheels
