Changed my mind because I have my Dad, mother, and brother over watching UFC. Bought four Ribeye's. $80 something for the steaks and they are just from the common grocery store. My mom made some strawberry cake deal. Cake and steaks pretty good.

Enjoyed the prime boneless rib eyes tonight from Butcher Box that client sent me (part of 5# pack). I simply could not finish the 16 ounces plus the huge baker with fixins’. Made a chimichurri. And was able to scare up 10 snow pea pods from the garden to add to the store green beans to toss as a quick stir fry with garlic. Chives and parsley also from the garden.

    2006 Dolcetto d’Alba to accompany.

Spent today doing yardwork then fired up the grill tonight. Threw some burgers, dogs, couple pieces of corn and some portabella mushrooms on. Using charcoal I usually try to do up a bunch of food for leftovers. Had a couple dogs, corn and a mushroom. Corn is so much better done over charcoal, it was the best part of the meal!!

Geez you folks eat good around here. :D

Had a dude I work with bring me in a steak for lunch yesterday. He bought a side of beef so brought me a T-bone. Was WAY overdone especially after re-heating but it was very tasty still. It was thin cut but it was good beef. I need to think about getting a big freezer and doing that, it's so much better than grocery store meat.

Been getting a lot of lettuce out of the garden even with having to compete with the bugs and critters nibbling on it. Tomato plants are getting big and one even has a little mater on it but it's gonna be awhile before I get any to eat.
