You may want to consider putting all questions regarding the F12 under ONE thread rather than creating multiple threads for each question you have. You'll probably get more replies and more useful information that way.

    Just a thought.

If you promise not to make a 6th thread I'll give my opinion. Xrayv8 is right, when you have 5 new threads on the board each for a separate simple question it discourages people from wanting to help.

That car is the classic example of high dollar options that are so polarizing in taste that the cost of the options doesn't really make the car more desirable. If you personally love the look, then great, but don't expect those options to command a premium if you go to sell the car later. The reason I stress that is because in another thread you asked how many F12's were imported to the US. If I recall someone did a pretty thorough analysis that estimated about 4600 total F12's were built, of which 2500-3000 were for the US. If you're asking about that, you're likely wondering about exclusivity. Many F12 owners, including myself, wouldn't want to pay more for that car even though the original options list was high. But as I said, if you personally love the look that's what matters. It fortunately does have the options that most people will expect to see in highly optioned F12's - LED steering wheel, Front lift, front cameras, and shields.
That being said, the routine services and maintenance aren't reported on the Carfax, so you'd want to make sure they were done. Only one maintenance is listed on the Carfax and that was done by an independent shop, which is a bit curious since it was in January of 2021, at which time the car would have still been under warranty. Usually if someone is going to have service at an independent it's because the car is out of warranty.
Also in another thread you asked about any differences between the manufacturing years. If Apple Carplay is important to you, that was only an option on the 2016/17 F12's. I personally didn't care about that when I was buying my F12, but it may matter to you since you said you've owned an 812 before.

Difficult to say whether it's highly needed, but I would definitely recommend it. You're in Florida, and especially if you'll be driving around the suburbs you may not need it much. It can definitely have an effect on resale though. My F12 without the lift activated has a hair more clearance than my GT350R, which is a notorious scraper. If you'll be driving mostly around suburbs and the potential sound of a scrape doesn't make you nauseous you may be fine without it. If you go into a city though there can be some curbs or steep inclines where entering or exiting without it may be tricky.

I have owned my F12 for 5 years and it does not have the front lift system. I have never missed having it or encountered a situation were it was needed. I tjink the main reason is that the front axle is so close to the front that when you encounter a road bump or similar it will soon reach the front tyres and start rising the car.
It was completly different with my Porsche 997 GT3, that did not have a front lift system, but was very much in needed.

This has been my experience as well without a lifter. I have dealer installed skid plates and I’ve never even scraped those.

You may need it once, but you WILL need it. For an example, if you go on a trip and the underground parking of the hotel you have booked has a very sharp entrance, what should you do? The suspension lifter may not be an absolute must have option, but you will definitely need it. I honestly don't understand why people decide to spare that expense when specing a new Ferrari.

I’ve never even come close to needing it but I’m sure some people live in areas where they couldn’t do without it. I’m not recommending people not to get it, just sharing my experience specifically to the F12.

I (need to) use front lift fairly regularly in the UK and all the time in Europe. If you have it, but never use it - lucky you. If you don't have it and need it, your in for a painful and potentially expensive experience. I would always take it.
It really depends on how you intend to use the car and where you intend to drive. if you can guarantee you will only ever drive on roads you know and they don't need it, great. if you intend to drive on roads you don't know, then I would argue its a must.

I don't have it on my F12, and have 15K miles on it, and have never needed it. I think the F12 sits pretty high, at least compared to my GT4. I have a lift on my F8 spider, and haven't used the lift, other then simply to use it to keep the parts freed up. I got the lift on the F8 because I thought it would sit lower. If it does, I still haven't had a need for the lift.

Not having a lift when I bought my F12 was my only hesitation. My sales rep swore to me that I wouldn’t need it and he threw in the skid plates for piece of mind. I trusted him
and bought the car anyway and he was correct, have never needed it, never even scraped the skid plates.
I have a SF90 Spyder on order and he told me for that car it’s an absolute must because the nose is so long past the front axle. He actually talked me out of the AF package, since you can’t get the lift in that car due to the suspension, for the SF90 for that reason.

Don't have the lift on mine and haven't needed it so far here in New Jersey. There are some speed bumps around my house that I can't get over in my GT3 unless I activate the lift but go over them just fine in the F12. The front of the F12 without lift is about as high off the ground as my GT3 with lift.

If you want to lower the car you’ll need a front lift. If you want to keep it stock height you can probably get away with out one depending where you live.

Right, the lift was a must for me as lowering a bit the car was in my plans, the F12 oem front being a bit too high imho.

Lift is a must if you drive this anywhere near a city. Surprised at these replies tbh.

Stock height but I use the lifter maybe once a month going into parking lots or driveways if I can't get a diagonal path to enter. Here in the desert streets are designed to carry water down flood channels, and so curbs are extra tall and curved compared to normal curbs on the coasts or Midwest. If I tried to go straight into my own driveway it would scrape badly.

For all those say 'no' to lift, let's see some pictures of the underside of your front fascia... let us see the evidence you do not need a lift...
