    No.... I couldn't leave Moorabbin until the fog lifted. 2 hours after I planned to. After the fog lifted, the weather was awesome.

    Yeah loads of fog this morning. Pic taken from the start of the Murray heading east. Blanket all the way, although Renmark airport was in a clear patch. Sat there for an hour in -2C waiting for the ambulance….

    Is that AVGAS?

    I might have to rethink my plan of buying an aircraft.
    When I worked as a refueller at Parafield, for several years it was pegged at 80c / litre and never moved.

    Not to mention my aircraft sometimes seemed to get filled up for free…

    I WAS joking... like anything, there are pluses and minuses. I’m still cheesed that we don’t have ‘Jetson - style’ flying cars that I was PROMISED when I was a kid!

    I still really enjoy the 308 when I get into the hills... highway is just a misery these days. Lucky I have some nice roads pretty much on my doorstep.

    I really enjoy the 308 too, but there's always part of the drive where I wonder why I bother. By the time I get home I'm always happy though.
