Can't be all that hard to learn to fly with todays electronics and GPS, tempted to learn to fly ,not sure I could be bothered long term with 200hp single engine thingy ...warbird North American Trojan T28 with 1,400hp and do warbird shows would be more me. Go for around 300k in the States with plenty of airtime left on 'em. Burn around 45gph, keep at Temora and have some fun . Gazza up to it ? Friend had one about 25 years ago a FCA member err it crashed oh well..

How is this.. When I started racing historics with the Elfin Mono in the late 80s , 2 ex Ansett engineers helped there son race against me , I was told last night my nickname was "The Kid" Anyway one of them was head of the Ansett engineering section, when he retired he selected another engineer to take over ..guess what another friend . Small world ..
I told him about the Short Sutherland holiday flight , he made comment my friend that his grandfather was flown up to get the aircraft airborne again ..
