    Hello.
Anyone had pushed by the dealer about a minimum amount of option for configurate a new car?
I put an order to the Roma couple months before with few options( $ 20.000)
Recently received a call from the dealer inform me that the factory will not to build this car, if I don't increase the amount of options
    Thanks.

You would think if they had a min they would just raise the price to that min and say it comes with $XX,XXX of customization included in the price... Would avoid this situation.

seems like a dealer specific issue? I would not think the factory will not build a car due to a limited amount of options.

This is a very Ferrari dealer type of move. I have commented frequently about dealer "ethics" on this site and often get shouted down. This is simply the business model of a dealer. AND it is sad.

I think Ferrari dealers have an average target for options, but I do not think Ferrari will reject any build for not being optioned enough.
IMHO Ferrari may (at worse) only do two things:
    - for early deliveries of a new model, give higher priority to highly optioned builds since they see them as "advertising" examples
    - give a dealer not reaching the target less allocations - but this impacts future potential customers (and the dealer), not any customer with few options when the dealer has the allocation.
Then the dealer is managing the situation in his own way, he may think it's easier to satisfy Ferrari (and make more money in the process) no matter what the customers want.
