The million dollar question is... what bushings do you plan installing it with? Unless someone has a clear good answer to this, it probably hasn't gone on their car.
My dealer has seen, for him all is correct with the roll bar and the bushings, we will see when I will receive all
WOW you guys will have great car when all this are installed So for now only Elliott have installed full FHP parts on his car? Ken have you installed on your car/cars? All the rare parts and impressive work to Cedriq find this parts, you will love the handling on the car after this
After Cedriq you find all parts for you car and done, you need hunt down parts for our friends in US or non airbag steering wheel for me You have good eye for great rare parts buddy
I just started working on the car again after a 2 month break. I'm still waiting on some key parts. Waiting for some local guy to get back to me on his red calipers. If he doesn't come through, I'm going with black calipers, but right now a clean set in black or red is hard to find. My only other option would be to pull black calipers from my other car, which I'd rather avoid doing for the time being. Black calipers brand new are no longer available. I actually prefer the black calipers over the red calipers for my Rosso 355.
Yes, no problem, I can help, we share the same passion…it will be a pleasure to find for someone, I have one kit, no need 2
Yeah black calipers look very nice I consider maybe change color on my calipers to gold or blue. But some part of me keep tell me its better keep red. Hope you get the red calipers buddy. Do you think Ferrari dealer can paint the calipers as OE? They keep tell me they can here in Norway I had the calipers on my Porsche repainted, they had to keep them 4 weeks to dry and they look 100% OE
The steering rack very very very good find, also your rack is new its impossible to find you need play Lottery or a lot online casino
I would keep your red calipers and find another used black set to paint. Painting is they easy part. Making it all look factory correct takes some thought. My experience working with shops, unless they've done it exactly how you want it in the past, unless you're in their ear about the exact way you want it or it should be done, they're simply going to do it however they see fit. They have samples of their past work?
My calipers are repainted in red by a previous owner. Clean work, but far from factory correct. Not the correct color and the not the correct font. To most people, it would be beautiful. To me, it's improper execution and that bugs me.
Aah you right Ken better not risk the calipers I have, I will buy used calipers and send those for repaint. @C'dwic I think maybe gold or blue will look good on my car
I have 2 355's . In the future, springs will not be an issue for me. Front roll bar, hopefully is not an issue either. For my black 355, I'm not concerned with installing factory parts. It will hopefully be a higher performance build, but suspension will be FHP for road compliance. I still believe it's the best option for our cars with the FHP damper ECU in place. My vision is challenge car-like, but with FHP suspension . Most likely going big brake kit as well. But none of this is taking place until my red car is finished. I can only do one car at a time, but I need all the parts . Hopefully, by then we've all figured out a nice comparable after-market solution to the steering rack. Even if I had the steering rack now, that would be the last thing I do because it's a big job.
Yes. Color not correct and script not correct. Color is darker red. More like Porsche color. Script is too modern. More appropriate for modern Ferrari. Mine will be for sale if you want to wait .
I think someone can start a legitimate side gig restoring/repainting factory calipers to 95-99% factory correct look. They're discontinued and they take a beating and will continue to over the coming years. It's like sticky interiors. Someone should take this on.
