Hard to figure out which one works on the car to read codes and reset the dash light like a check engine. Anyone have advice which one works they have? Not looking for something insane like a $1-$3k system.

Thanks - anything that uses iOS and Bluetooth without a paid subscription software you’re aware of?

I use this BlueDriver with their free app and updates on my iPhone for my F355 as well as my daily drivers. https://www.amazon.com/BlueDriver-Bluetooth-Professional-iPhone-Android/dp/B00652G4TS/ref=asc_df_B00652G4TS/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=312064691975&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=13410810175824866266&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9010901&hvtargid=pla-405661045648&psc=1
It easily interfaces, reads OBD codes, clears them and checks emissions compliance and readiness. It will even display live data on the various sensors and engine running parameters while you are driving if needed. It's no SD2 by any means if you are looking to find and clear Ferrari specific codes and only addresses the standard OBD codes.

What’s the SD2 as I’m looking to have something that would be flexible with Fcar codes as you never know down the road?

The SD1 or 2 is the official Ferrari scanner for the F355 and will probably cost you a 5 figure number.

It reads all the ECUs on the car. OBD2 scanners will only talk to the engine ECUs on a F355.

Hmmm yeah not looking to spend $10k on a reader. So no other option to read all the computers but that SD1/2?

There's the modern Leonardo but the last time I checked those were around $20K so that one is not going to help you. Other than that, I am not aware of any other scanner that can read all the F355 ECUs.
