Wonderful Friday - nobody was out and almost zero wind - just took a nice 30 mph cruise to a buddy’s place with a 110 mph blast on the way home - life is good :)

I know those boats fairly well. Fantastic floor plan and huge bridge. At survey check the swim platform lift if it has one, the aftercooler history if you can get it and have them run engine and trans samples which I'm sure they would do anyways.
    Good Boat!

Thanks, I was looking at the 480s when this popped up, just so much bigger. Thanks for the tips-swim platform hydraulics, AC units and bow thruster are new per seller, not sure about aftercoolers, I'll be there for the survey and will ask.

    Cats or Detroits?
The 48 and 56 are two of the best floor plans ever IMO.
The 56 is an easy boat to run and dock too.

Love being out on the water at that time of day. Sun going down, little wind, very few other boats, and calm!!!

    Beautiful brutes!
I had one of the Packard V-12's in my boatshop for a while; got donated to a museum.
    1500 hp, 2500 cubic inches, & 2900 pounds weight!
Oddly, still have the carburetor & air cleaner......about 75 pounds weight!
