for DOTD you need to do more. Did he pass anyone after the first corner? Did he give the leaders a hard time? He had a very quiet, boring race.

Which makes it odd that he didn't reverse and continue with the race.

Great race for Max. Checo asleep at the wheel. Carlos did all he could and should call out his own races. Charles has Max living in his head. Hammy did all he could do.

Ah Ferrari! Give it up already.

Just hand Max the WDC and call it a day. This championship is over.

I truly struggled not falling asleep in this "race".

Throttle issue if I'm not mistaken.

Speed makes you a fast driver and potential race winner. Speed and consistency is the hallmark of a champion. I like Charles, but the number of crashes from the lead is worrying. I’m going to assume there was a throttle issue, but he was “throttled” by Binnoto after the bungle at the British(?) Grand Prix so he’s been probably coached to not show up the team.

Whether driver or team, the consistency statement applies towards being a champion.

I think Charles during his (very windy) interview took all the blame on himself and said it was a mistake...

When else has he crashed from the lead? The only mistake I can recall from this season has been Imola. Not saying there wasn’t another one or two, but I don’t remember.

He parked Perez. LH is professional and made a critical pass when needed, and the pass was a success when things are their most critical - AT THE START. Overall it was not the most exciting race but LH is where PEREZ SHOULD BE LOL! On the podium.

Am I imagining Carlos saying he couldn't pass Perez and asking to pit a couple laps earlier, while the team was telling him to stay out?

+1 - Go Carlos. Im losing a touch of faith in Charles. Carlos has focus, drive and is the SMARTER driver currently[/QUOTE]

Those CL screams indicate the problem. And you can't fix that.

Natkingcolebasket69 was right - Kelly Piquet is completely unattractive.

What a disaster of a team, Mercedes with a car a second per lap slower have almost the same points in the constructors championship. Scuderia condescendence wasting a championship winning car.

Carlos had to the most Ferrari strategy again today. 3rd was EASY. Ferrari keep finding novel ways on how to screw up the most basic things time and time again. News flash Ferrari! No titles are handed out of dumbest ****s in the paddock! Ferrari clearly has the fastest car, fastest on Saturday and can manage the race on Sunday...I couldn't believe my ears on the strategy. What are they doing! They're CLEARLY not watching the screens, the actual race unfolding....THATS THE ****ING PROBLEM!!! You can read numbers of your laptop all day long but watching the race unfold is KEY. They don't do it. Sainz is too clever for this team.

When they pitted him that late I was sure it was going to be for Softs at least...the mediums he had, they should've pitted on lap 37-38!!!! In the end with the late VSC it may have been futile but come on...when they pitted they where out of laps already.
