Red seatbelts… Love it and congrats! Post more! :)

Love seeing another “quick” delivery after status 90. More in the 60 day range gives me hope that perhaps logistics are getting a bit back to normal.

Bernie, I just want to say I 100000% agree. I much prefer to leave the interior as factory as possible. Would be willing to pay a bit of premium in some areas there to get it exactly how I want as the driver seat experience, and save aftermarket mods for the exterior. Somehow it feels simpler (and more cost effective) to deal with those options aftermarket.

Would love to see how everything looks once your shop has gotten the work done. Congrats again!

Edit: that’s not to say I haven’t done interior mods in past rides, but I find I just get myself into trouble one way or another when I go down that road[emoji16]

I would love to see this when it come out and would ask where you got what parts. I feel the same about external carbon fiber and only did the rear boot, s duct And side splitter for those reasons but would consider that same approach for the front and rear diffuser. I always do the interior with all OEM

Just got word from my SA that suddenly I’m at status 85 out of nowhere. Oddly my app stopped working and the my garage only shows “error unable to load” for the last 10 days so never got any photos of this car and even my prior cars don’t show up.

Yeah stoked it’s done and hopefully it will get a ship out to NJ before the august holiday. Might even get some late fall driving in if so.

From what I gathered with my F8, the status in modis was generally a week or 2 behind where the car actually was. Hopefully it’s already on a boat, or in transit to get on a boat!

I'm guessing CGM Dalila gets to Genoa later this week: https://www.myshiptracking.com/vessels/cma-cgm-dalila-mmsi-228337900-imo-0.

Chicago Express (https://www.myshiptracking.com/vessels/chicago-express-mmsi-211839000-imo-0) and Vienna Express (https://www.myshiptracking.com/vessels/vienna-express-mmsi-218355000-imo-0) are headed the other way.

Does your dealer think the car gets on a boat before the August shutdown? I am right there with you, hoping they load theses cars on rather than let them sit a month

I don’t think any dealer has a clue about this stuff. Maybe I’m wrong but my SA said he had no clue

I think it’s fair to say they have no clue until it happens and gets logged into the system. Not their fault just how Ferrari does things, but I don’t think that’s unique to them in the car manufacturing world.

Totally agree. I think all dealers only get info from corporate and most car companies are having such issues with production and shipping that I think they are just doing the best they can. The customers all wish it was more transparent but it’s just the way it goes. Honestly I’m just happy to be getting another great car this year. I’d love to see a photo but no big deal either way really. Just imaging all those customers who lost amazing cars with the Porsche vessel fire and sinking. That would really suck

Oh man, I almost forgot about that. I remember when the news broke, thinking, “could you imagine having a car on that thing?”

Then it was reported just *what* was on there…

I can only imagine the flurry of texts between clients and SAs those first few days. I’m sure the dealers had zero idea for the first bit , probably the most they heard was “please repeat no comment.”

At least the factory did the right thing and retooled to remake the cars, but dang, what luck. I mean sure, nobody lost their livelihood from it, but I can imagine what it was like for someone who worked hard, dreamed of ownership, was tracking the ship, and turned on the news one day.

My understanding is that the production dates are in the system once the car goes into production. Any factory knows production times and these may change due to supply or other issues but they have a general idea. They may not want to share this information.

I know that when my F8S went into production they said it would be completed by the fifth week of the year 2022 Their predicted dates noted my car to likely be shipped on the seventh week. The shipping was a delay they had less information about due to variable times and of course customs processing was a mess.

All dates were correct In terms of production and shipping. My car sat in the ship for excess time due to port issues and processing delays. That’s were the ship tracker is helpful.

Looks like the ship (Dalila) arrived yesterday. given my car is done and waiting for shipment anyone think there would be a realistic possibility that it doesn’t get loaded onto this ship? I would think if so I’m looking at it getting to the US around September.

My order status does show 40 %, so they just started the production or which production step is this approximately? Dealer told me that delivery will be in August, but this probably won't happen (EU delivery).

Cars go from forty to 85 rather quickly. Within 10 days it seems.

Here’s a guide on what the status codes mean. As long as your car leaves before the summer break in august, it’ll probably get delivered. Otherwise, it will be sitting at the factory over the break

I don’t have the exact dates for this year, but broadly accurate to say “early august” going two weeks. My personal guess is sometime between the 3rd and the 8th, since that would get them a week or so back before the Belgium GP. Maybe someone else knows a published date that’s been put out.
