Mind sharing the links where you get the parts on the website? Thank you!...

With all the carbon fiber options everywhere, some of which I think are hard to see and pretty pricey (IMHO), I am surprised that no one has a carbon fiber side view mirror. If anyone is aware of a carbon option for a pair of side mirrors I would be interested. I think it is a great look and really helps to hide rock chips in a high impact area. Bernie. Have you added your CF parts yet? Would love to hear your thoughts and see some photos. Does the CF match the OEM on the inside and how was the install from a cost and complexity standpoint.
RCorsa, The car is still at my performance shop. Most of the pieces have been applied and look great. The weave on all of the parts matches Ferrari's OEM weave. There is only one piece that I have an issue with (Front Bumper Insert Cover). The vertical pieces on that one do not extend all the way up the top of OEM piece. It looks okay, but not "perfect". I can deal with the trade-off on that piece because buying the front bumper insert aftermarket through Miller Motorcars would be $18,157USD versus less than $1K USD via Exotic Car Gear! I do not expend Ritz Carlton at Ritz Cracker prices The install was not difficult on any piece and cost is simply several hours of labor at my shop's rate.
Will do. The car will be in the shop for at least two weeks getting various things done to it (e.g., PPF, paint correction, ceramic coating. etc.).
Think of adding the carbon engine bay and the front spoilers. Never done that in the past given risk of damage and the fact I rarely open the engine hatch but for 5-6k it’s kind of a no brainer assuming it looks legit I once bought an aftermarket door sill from ricambi on my 488 and the Ferrari logo was different. It drove me nuts so I returned it and bought an overpriced oem set.
Did your car make the ship? Another boat should be pulling in by Monday. Hoping to make that boat myself! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have no idea. My SA said he would alert me when it went 90 but sounds like there is a some delay from actual pickup to the status update. That ship I hope has my car called “Delila” after moving through Italy snd Barcelona quickly has now been stuck in the Valencia harbor for 3 days I assume from some port back log. The route appears to indicate that is the last stop before heading to the USA so it’s driving me nuts. I think I will stop looking. Lol
Yep…unless you enjoy checking, it’s not here until it’s here. Too many variables and incomplete information prior to. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
The Chicago express is pulling in tomorrow I believe , so you have another chance if it didn’t make it onto the Dalia. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
But the fun is in the waiting. The waiting is the hardest part. It’s what you sacrifice that makes something worthwhile Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Given the Dalia should leave Valencia Spain for the USA in the next day or two, I emailed my SA to ask. He checked and confirmed my status of 90! I guess its on the that boat. Still no photos in the app but just thankful I made it before the holiday as it means pending some customs issues/shipping problems I should have my car for at least a little fall driving!?!
Ok, first new Ferrari order...people smarter than me, is this stage 60? Or is it after testing and ready for the boat? Thanks in advance.
Will do, I will call FOA and check...at one time they thought maybe September but with all the hold ups I was surprised to see this picture in the Ferrari app.
Third production photo is often ready for or has shipped. I got my third production photo on 11 June and was told that it shipped on 9 June. Was told 2 - 3 months to make it to the west coast (still waiting).
Thank you for the information. When I placed the order last October I was very skeptical from the beginning that I would ever actually get the car. I did find out several months into it it had been approved but that I should remain with a 14 to 18 month window for delivery. So yesterday I register for the MyFerrari app and there’s a picture of it, I was shocked in a good way.
If the app has “waiting list “ ( mine showed up 11/1/21… deposit 8/10/21) indicted . Is a 812GTS allocation pretty much a sure thing ? … it would be a bad day to go thru the ordering process , time and excitement and have production wrap up next year with no car …. You know you are getting a car once the app shows your VIN number. Until then it’s hard to be 100% certain and I’ve heard of folks having their cars (f8 etc) Cancelled after months of having it show “waiting list”
I was very nervous about my F8 spider until 10R. That’s also roughly around when the VIN shows up on the app, but not always. My VIN was assigned for like 3 months before the spider actually started production
