I believe it was stock, which was surprising. By the way, your BOS hit the track! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
FYI gents....the track owners lost a class action suit. Hence the restrictions on the noise levels. https://tremblantexpress.com/en/circuit-mont-tremblant-une-victoire-pour-les-citoyens/
... as discussed earlier on this thread. As for general attendance, seen on pictures shared here, it looks like there wasn't many "Vintage" era Ferraris present.
Joann Villeneuve is such a treasure, she endured all the prying questions and still stuck around for each event at the A.E. Luca Dal Monte was also a complete gentleman and noted that Gillles’ first Formula 1 win occurred at Montreal, taking place on his birthday, October 8th. The first time that an F1 driver won on his home course on the first attempt. Major kudos to Don Ambros, Jim Meek, Russell Wilson, Paul Flynn and all of the other volunteer organizers I’ve inadvertently left out who made it happen… *apologies for misspellings Image Unavailable, Please Login
Rocco sat next to me at my table. Classy gent! ....and a good looking one too! PS: ...he reads these posts!!!
Great to see a pure Euro spec BB without the 'federalisation' parts hung on USA imports back then. Bernie is this red BB s/n 18169 or a different car? The BB with that number was one of two BB models imported into Canada in 1975 under the guise of 'cold weather' testing and never left. It was somehow registered a year later in 1976 with the Ontario lic plate KVX 785.
18169 was originally Blu Dino and sold new to Mr Burnett in Canada. Here she is in 2015. (the other new 365 BB to Yonge Steeles Motors was 18027 and originally painted Bianco Polo 20-W-152 with Rosso VM 3171 interior) (and Luigi della Grotta got 365 BB 18599 in Argento Metallizzato 106-E-1 and black interior) Marcel Massini Image Unavailable, Please Login
Chastity cage for cars Looks like it was a great event, noise restrictions excepted, congratulations to the organisers.
Long Island Chapter at Montobello. Great drive and great venue! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
A few on the green at the Chateau Montebello. FYI, I was late for lunch and judging from other photos prior to my arrival, the grounds were pretty saturated with Ferrari's. They were judging the car for the preservation class which requires a somewhat different skill set. The 330 in background is not Cletes. .
No, I am speaking of the Black 512 BB they are standing next to. Davids 365 is red and was entered for conventional judging. . Davids car is substantially restored as I recall and I doubt it would do well in preservation class.
