Beg to differ, sir. Cider is not the best alcoholic beverage there is, but it is much better than some light beers we have in the UK (that water like substance called Heineken Light, par example). I usually drink 5% alcohol and above, Somersby cider qualifies as such.

Does anyone know the best way to obtain a report from Marcel Massini on a specific vehicle? My boss has a 288 GTO and an F50 that we would like to obtain reports on before possibly putting the cars up for sale. @Marcel Massini I know is on these threads some times and might be able to help :)

I thought so, my understanding was all Eu cars left as standard and the parts manual reveals no sound proofing that I can find, so wasn't the foam application on Swiss cars a post-production fitment?

Pretty sure the foam application didn't make it into the manual.
Cars destined for Switzerland were surely equipped with foam right at the factory.

Pity the foam was put there to dull the sound because for many the unique noises and vibration the F50 emits because the engine is bolted to the tub like an F1 car are what they enjoy about driving an F50, the vibration and the noises from the engine, gearbox & suspension felt in the cockpit are part of the F50 experience.

My information re foam application on F50s for Switzerland by factory is NOT correct. Apologies.
Correct is: This was not done by the factory. This was done by a specially authorized official Swiss Ferrari dealer, for all F50s in Switzerland, Mr. Walo Schibler of Symbol Automobiles SA in Matran (near Freiburg), Switzerland. Schibler's company Symbol Automobiles SA had already done exclusively the F40 conversions for Switzerland (rear spoiler mods, etc.) and therefore was selected to modify the F50's as well (foam application).

THJ announced this car has now sold... Would be interesting to know what it actually sold for, considering the ambitious asking price.

Thanks Marcel, the reason I queried this in the first place was I thought it was a post-production application, and I imagine the next buyer will want it removed.

    Thanks.
He was asking £3.75m unregistered in UK, or add 20% to register and drive it in UK.
I would guess ask of £3.75m became, say, £3.6m sold. So:
    - To the US at $4.4m with 2.5% import tax and shipping then local state tax, so circa $4.7m
    - Remains at the UK and goes to bonded warehousing and is unregistered: Price to buyer: £3.6m ($4.4m)
    - Remains in UK and is registered to be driven. Price to buyer: £3.6m * 1.2 (20% Tax) = £4.3m ($5.2m).
