    Does the 488 automatically shift in manual PS (Launch mode)

    Feels like an oxymoron.
    Manual launch, but it still auto shift

    It will auto shift while in launch mode.

    It there any way around this? I was using ps tonight and noticed it was autoshifting. It seemed like it was shifting early.

    In LC/PS shifts are auto and optimised for best performance; out of this mode auto shifts are (at least in Europe) optimised for normalised fuel consumption figures.
    In theory one could use manual without LC to try and match (or beat?) the performance of LC, but if for once Ferrari knew what they were doing it will not work.
